The Lifeline Express: An Indian Hospital on a train

In rural India, where the poor have little access to medical facilities there is a unique way of providing treatment to the sick and hope to the disabled. It’s based on the simple concept that if the people cannot reach a hospital, then the hospital should reach the people. This is the story of a very special train – the Lifeline Express. Over a 4 week period, specialists will treat the poor with life saving and enhancing operations, aboard a stationary hospital train.
